Publisher's Synopsis
The Stanzaic Morte Arthur is one of many Arthurian texts that influenced what we now think of the Arthurian legend. It focuses on the love affair between Lancelot and Guinevere, and was composed by an anonymous author in the 14th century.
It is said to have had a large influence on Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, which makes it an important influence of the legend as a whole.
