Publisher's Synopsis
Tracey Rebel and his cowpunchers knew it would be tough blazing a cattle trail from Texas to the Arkansas Valley. They were right. It was wilderness for most of the way, peopled largely by bands of Apache, Comanche and Ute. But when the herd finally reached the Santa Fe Trail, trouble hit the Texans hard in the shape of the notorious Charlie Dodge and his band of desperadoes. Even then, things would not have been so bad but for the lovely, unpredictable Esther Masterton, sole survivor of the wagon train which Dodge and his outlaws had ambushed.
