Home baker and Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) Kayla Jeffries has accepted a guest chef position at the historic Countryside Inn in Los Robles, California. Little does she know that she will soon be a witness to a murder. One of her fellow cooks is stabbed during dinner service on the first night of the event, and she becomes a person of interest in the crime-and possibly a suspect. Determined to clear herself and save her livelihood, she embarks on a quest to solve the crime with the help of her father, Andrew.
