Publisher's Synopsis
With 'Splash Mountain', James Franco returns to the dark world of teenage alienation he chronicled in 'Palo Alto'. A group of 14-year-olds are thrown together at summer camp, their blood rushing headlong in games like capture the flag and - much more volatile - spin the bottle. With their burgeoning sexuality, the characters are compelled by forces outwith their control - the girls grasping for survival mechanisms to combat the aggressiveness of the predatory boys. The summer ends with a trip to Disneyland and a freefall down the waters of Splash Mountain. And, as innocence is lost, what about love?
