This course, designed to meet the needs of intermediate students of Spanish who have a vocabulary of about 2000 words, sets out the standard format and wording of effective business-letters in the language. With its straightforward approach, the book provides examples from many different areas of commerce and industry, while the follow-up exercises focus on important grammatical structures. The lessons learned are rehearsed with a range of relevant vocabulary and the student is then given the opportunity to apply the newly-acquired knowledge in a series of controlled letter-writing exercises.
