Seven southern women - tea and scandal at seven. They are not your typical southern women. Miss Trudy Philpot is filthy rich from tobacco and plantation money; Miss Flossy Tringle is often referred to as the town hussy and one brick shy of a load. Sometimes that's only half the truth. Miss Jessica Fleabottom is the retired town librarian--all I can say is it's the quiet ones you have to watch and as the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. Miss Portia Ketchum owns Class Act, and she is often thought of as demure and refined. Of course if you believe that let's sell you some swamp land in Arizona. Miss Tova Devereaux is the attorney in the group and she is always delighted to throw a corrupt politician in jail. Or anybody else for that matter that's on the wrong side of the law. Miss Lacy Bell-Durning is the Bible thumper in the group and she definitely lives up to her reputation, including those fits of "hellfire and eternal damnation" she's famous for! Dear sweet Miss Bessie Mae McCutcheons is Miss Trudy's maid and beloved friend. She's also the one making the "secret recipe" that often makes the Southern Hussy Bitches three sheets to the wind when they drink it. This is the first in the series.
