Publisher's Synopsis
The darkness is new and Brenna is learning what it means to be a vampire. She tries to discover why the Angel of Death, Azrael, has been appearing to her, imparting cryptic messages. Confusing as his riddles are, they make sense in the end, leading Brenna to reach out to Miranda. Miranda has had a haunting nightmare for years, which finally becomes real. Although Miranda doesn't expect Julien to be her nightmare made flesh, when she finds her friends murdered, she realises that she is the vampire's new target. Time is growing short for Miranda as she falls under Julien's spell. Brenna must risk her very soul to save Miranda, while Azrael hovers on the edge of Brenna's thoughts. What does he want with her? Has he come to collect her soul? Brenna must find Miranda or Miranda will be lost forever.
