The author
Kola Adeniyi won the Nigerian Media Merit Awards' prize for the Best Money Market Reporter in 2007. That year, his first published novel, The Reporter, was published, immediately attracting the attention of the media. The book subsequently enjoyed wide review and praise from the Nigerian print media.
Adeniyi now teaches phonetics and phonology at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is currently working on another novel.
