Many children travel through the foster care system completely alone, with no one to help them get the support they need and/or to help them fight for their rights, both in court and in the foster care system. Some children, however, are lucky enough to be represented by a court-appointed special advocate or a guardian ad litem - volunteers who devote themselves to helping children who cannot help themselves. Someone There for Me tells the stories of these children and the people who helped them to navigate the foster care system and build a future for themselves.
