Excerpt from Some Account of the Worshipful Company of Grocers of the City of London
The period which has elapfed fince the printing of my firfi: edition, having afforded me opportunities of reétifying certain inaccuracies which had crept into it, enabled me alfo to colleél: the accounts of the different Pageants connected with the Grocers' Com pany, which furnifh curious illufirations of the man ners and cuftoms of the times in which they were celebrated, and thefe I have added to the Appendix.
