C'est l'été et Soleil S'ENNUIE! La plupart de ses amis sont partis, sa mère veut qu'elle garde plus souvent qu'elle ne le souhaiterait et il n'y a rien de bon à la télé. Le seul endroit intéressant et rafraîchissant est la piscine du quartier. Soleil adore y aller et est ravie de se faire offrir un emploi au casse-croûte. Elle apprend vite à préparer des frites et à servir de la crème glacée... avec l'aide du très gentil garçon qui travaille avec elle.
It's summer, and Soleil is BORED. Most of her friends are out of town. Her mom wants her to babysit way more than she'd like to. There's nothing good on TV.
The only place that's cool (in a not-boring sense) and cool (in a not-hot sense) is the community pool. Soleil loves going there... and loves it even more when she's offered a job at the snack shack. Soon she's flinging fries and serving soft ice cream like a pro... with the assistance of the very sweet boy who works with her. Soleil's mom isn't sure she should be quite so independent, but Soleil is sure of one thing -- life is best when it's free swim!
