Publisher's Synopsis
Captain Evan Price deserts the army after a particularly nasty and bloody experience in Northern Ireland, where a woman in childbirth is accidently killed by British troops. He embarks on a journey of self-discovery, kidnaps his son, but doesn't have the emotional qualities to succeed.
