B'anires, confusion singulière, prirent ce club pour une chapelle. Ils y ont imaginé, autour de la replète, bourgeoise, et railleuse figure d'henri Beyle, qui se prète mal pourtant à la grave attitude d'un Dieu, je ne sais quel culte mystérieux et saugrenu. Et ils se sont égayés, parfois mème indignés, aux dépens des adeptes de cette religion nouvelle.
