Publisher's Synopsis
The aims of this review are to scrutinize currently available documents and datasources which offer insight on the prevalence, incidence and characteristics of social care (and related health) needs of black and minority ethnic communities. In addition, the review considers and summarizes what is known about the take-up of, and access to, social services of ethnic minority communities. The sources of the review fall into three categories: academic or published research; local authority studies that are available to the public; and voluntary and community group studies.
