ABOUT THE AUTHORJan Yager, Ph.D. is a sociologist and award-winning author, coach, and Adjunct Associate Professor who has been conducting interviews, and teaching research methods, for decades. This journal is dedicated to her Dad, William Barkas, D.D.S., because as he faced his imminent death at the age 80 due to an inoperable brain tumor, she realized she did not even know what his favorite color was.
