Publisher's Synopsis

Snapshots in Time is a reveling and sometimes humorous look at ten specific moments in time, or snapshots, of one man's life. The author takes an honest look at these snapshots which show that we may not always have control over the things that happen in our life, but we always have control over how we face them. Whether it's being caught in a lightning storm during a cross country motorcycle trip, or being tormented by an insane mouse, these stories show that we are always surrounded by the unknown. How a person chooses to face the unknown reveals a lot about who they really are. Even though each of us has a certain mental image of self, when we look back at various times in our life, we might be surprised to see a completely different picture than the one that we had hoped for. JIM GRIFFIN was born in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1967, but he grew up in Portland, Oregon. After graduating from Franklin High School in 1985, he spent the next four years serving in the United States Marine Corps, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. Throughout his working life, he has learned a little about business and a lot about the importance of hard work. After more than fifteen years in the oil industry, he changed the direction of his life. He received a degree in management from PCC, and started his own business. Jim currently resides in rural Columbia County, a distant suburb of Portland, Oregon.
