Publisher's Synopsis
Philip is in France when he is told that his brother is in a coma following an apparent asthmatic attack. He returns to England to cope with the flat racing season at the family's Swynsmere stables and soon realizes that the stables' affairs are in deep trouble when an anonymous caller rings.
