Publisher's Synopsis
Thianna's search for the Horn of Osius takes her to Thica, the homeland of her mother. There, she learns that the neighboring city-states, an underground kingdom of dactyl dwarves and the wyvern reptiles are oppressed by the rule of the two Queens and the Thicans. Thianna will be pitted against a cousin she never knew, while Karn and Desstra, the dark elf, aid her in her quest for the Horn. Along the way, there will be encounters with minotaurs, chimera, the Sphinx, battles galore and dragons to the rescue as the trio match their brawn, wits and sneakiness against the Queens' soldiers. As always, Karn's board-game playing skills save the day when the kids are forced to play a deadly match of Queen's Champion to secure freedom for themselves and their allies. Included are instructions on how to play Queen's Champion, a glossary, and a timeline of the history of Thica.
