Sir Thomas More is an Elizabethan play based on some of the life events of the Catholic martyr Thomas More who rose to the position of Lord Chancellor of England during the Reign of Henry VIII. The play is thought to be written by Anthony Munday and Henry Chettle and later revised. This play is also notable for a three-page revision that is often attributed to William Shakespeare.
