Publisher's Synopsis
Iphigenia is six foot tall, seventeen stone, the daughter of a black prostitute and an English Duke. Rosemary her friend is respectable and middle-class. There are many men in Iphigenia's life but only one in Rosemary's. Out of this contrast arises the black comedy in this novel.
