Publisher's Synopsis
Single yet Loved is a vulnerable and raw memoir written by Rebekah Midkiff about some of her more challenging adult years. She describes in intimate detail her personal struggles with Love. Her story will touch on some tough subjects that are not often talked about. Marriage, divorce, cheating, betrayal, dating, failed relationships, being single, motherhood, abortion, heartbreak, and suicide. Most importantly this book ends with healing, love, peace, forgiveness, and some wisdom learned along the way.
In Rebekah's own words ......"I wasn't overly excited to share parts of this story, but God kept nudging me. I started to write not even sure how things would end because many times I was still in the midst of dealing with some of the hardest moments in my life. Looking back one thing was definite. God was right there with me every step of the way. I share how I learned to accept how much God loved me, and how I began to truly love myself. We hear it everywhere "love yourself." But how do we truly learn to love ALL of ourselves? The bad, the broken, the mistakes. I realized after a major intervention, that my entire life, God had been pursuing my heart. When I chose to turn my focus towards God and pursue a relationship with Him, I experienced major breakthroughs. I go into detail how I was able to begin to heal. Breaking the patterns of mistakes in my life in order to create a different future. For the first time I was alone, but so happy, fulfilled, and at peace with my life. I describe to my readers how important it is to find your passion, your plan, and your purpose in life. I write about some tough topics, but I promise my story ends with joy and light. My story is exactly the type of story that needs to be told. I bring awareness to certain issues that need to be talked about. I think more people that want to admit openly have lived or are living my exact pain and struggle. My hope is I will inspire and help someone find their path to healing and find their courage. I hope to empower them to live a life full of joy no matter what is thrown at them. To have true freedom and love. I hope my story impacts your life in a positive way." ♥♥
