Publisher's Synopsis
Why does sin cost so very much? Well, it does not, that is if you go by the large economy size and sin a lot. As most people do this day. But then your penalty is assured. You will go to hell, to be sure. But if you are moral and try not to sin. But still, you will sin a lot.If you are a Christian and try not to sin, you will still sin a lot. This book is written for Christians, who try not to sin. Now with that out of the way, we shall continue.Goal of this book: to be like Jesus ChristSin, the bane of human existence. From the very first sin that Adam and Eve committed, their eyes were opened. Then they realized what a mistake they had made; we all have been regretting it ever since. We do sin, constantly, daily, it never stops! But as we sin, we are trapped in a spiderweb of consequences. Only repentance, true repentance from the heart, will begin to release us.Make no mistake, for true repentance to be effective we must "Love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength." That is the only panacea I can see. If this is not your motivation, then you need to pray for this.As we repent, we will start to see the enormity of our sin. Like the nighttime stars, you are able to see more and more of them as the sky darkens. Sin is a monstrous evil, and it is only when God's glory finishes off all sin and mankind is free, that we will all be able to sing and bow down before him in humble obedience. As you consider your secrets, you will notice that many of the sins operate in conjunction with others. It is extremely hard to live a sinless life, and the harder you try the more difficult it becomes. That is why the blood of Christ is so very precious. You need to learn to repent from the heart, from the soul, from your entire being. Only then, as the Blood of Christ starts to wash over you, can you experience some release. It will take time, plenty of time and practice. But it is the only way. You will need to have a burning desire for the purity and holiness of God.
