Publisher's Synopsis
Afew years ago Bea Hazley accepted her own assign- ment: she dared to take a critical look at herself and all thecircumstances that brought her to be who she is, today. And so, she said to the world (at least all those who choose to read herwritings), "Hello, let me introduce you to someone that I finallygot to know just a few months ago." With that in mind, she daredto go into areas where most of us would never enter. As I read continuously through each paragraph, I metmany people for the first time that I actually had known (Ithought) for most of my adult life. Many of them had been avery integral part of my life and continue to occupy a part ofmy prayer time. After reading them through Bea's eyes, I seethem more clearly and I LOVE THEM MORE DEARLY! Withinthe searching and wrenching for reasons and explanations ofher loved ones, this mother, wife, daughter, friend, grandmother, has found a renewed interest in each one of them. She hasvented her thoughts and released each one of them to live theirlives as they see fit, only this time they now live it fully knowingthat their mother, wife, daughter, friend, grandmother hasclearly seen them, accepted them, and loves them. How many times do we stop and wonder if someone, anyone, or that special ONE loves us? How many times do welive out our lives without assurance that love has ever beenpresent or has sought to enter our horse drawn carriage; ourchosen paths? That's what this second half of Bea Hazley'sbook is all about. It is a message to all that says she has seenthe world and many of the introits that are sung at the beginningof it. She may not like what she sees, but she has learnedto love in spite of it all. She wants all of us to know that she isat peace with herself, and therefore has found peace in the factthat she loves us all unconditionally. That's what it's all about. We love people, but it is under our own conditions. Wewant to make them over so that they are our clones. Bea istelling us that we will be better served if we would pray thatGod would help us accept people as they are and let Him dothe work. All we have to do is pray for them daily and lovethem more clearly.
