"This book is a primer on classic covenant theology, which defends the validity of the covenant of redemption, the covenant of works, and the covenant of grace. From the author: Covenant theology is a perennial topic of interest in the church given that it is such a prominent theme in the Scriptures. This is especially the case in Reformed and Presbyterian churches, which have been historically committed to covenant theology. Yet, in the twentieth century a number of prominent voices both within and without the Reformed community have been critical of classic threefold covenant theology: redemption, works, and grace.
