Hey fireflies! For those of you who don't already know me: my name's Chloe Henkel (@chloe.creating) and this is my book. Sick Days is a collection of poetry based on my own experiences with Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Trichotillomania (a compulsive hair-pulling disorder) and other mental health issues. I hope that these poems are able to bring comfort and a reminder that you are not alone to anyone who needs it.
More than anything, I hope to remind you all that you are more than your struggles, your disorders, and your sick days.You are a whole, beautiful, human being, who is deserving of all of the love and support you may need. **Please note that this book does talk about sensitive, and potentially triggering topics, including depression, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. There are specific trigger warnings included in the book, but please take care in deciding if this is something you want to read if these are sensitive topics for you, because your safety and health is more important than anything.**
