Catalogue of the exhibition organized for the 5th National Ecclesial Congress (Florence, November 2015), the volume offers a deep reflection on the complex relationship between art and faith. Divided into three sections, the publication reproduces the works of some of the biggest names in the international scene: from the series Ex Voto by Nan Goldin to the Via Crucis by Adrian Paci, from installations by Mimmo Paladino to Gianni Ferrero Merlino's "dark visions" of gothic cathedrals. The second section is devoted to artists living or operating in Tuscany, while the third contains the works by well-known names of the Italian scene which will accompany the sacred texts in the New Lectionary of Italian Episcopal Conference.
