Publisher's Synopsis
Jason Moore directs this Broadway adaptation of the popular children's animation following the adventures of a loveable green ogre. All the main characters from the original film appear in the production, with Shrek (Brian d'Arcy James), Princess Fiona (Sutton Foster) and their extremely talkative sidekick Donkey (Daniel Breaker) pitted against the dastardly Lord Farquaad (Christopher Sieber). The production includes 17 new songs with music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire.
