When esteemed photographer Thomas Roma read his young son's school journal, he was taken with how well Giancarlo expressed himself and how clear he was about his feelings, and was inspired to collaborate with him on a book. Beginning with a box of 50 of Roma's Brooklyn photos, they edited the book according to Giancarlo's preferences, turning the process of creating the book into a dialogue between father and son, photographer and writer. The result is 'Show and Tell', a charming look at Brooklyn through a famous photographer's eyes and his 8-year-old son's mind. 37 b/w photos.
