The first book of a Black LGBTQ+ novella series
Blaine Redford is an overweight, Bisexual, and Black advice columnist and writer who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. When the two attend a neighborhood welcoming party, champagne is spilled on Blaine's shirt by his new neighbor, Demetrius. What starts off with just simply returning a clean shirt leads to an eye-opening world for Blaine where he struggles with his newfound feelings for Demetrius and wonders if those confusing feelings are even returned. While Blaine is faced with a deadline to complete a project for his job that requires him to be more open about his life, he must also face the injustices, secrets, and lies people keep hidden from him. On a rollercoaster of love, lust, secrets, and betrayal; will Blaine learn that not everyone has his best interests at heart?
