With Weinberger's sixth and concluding volume in his series, all of the known Balkan liturgical poetry in Hebrew, Aramaic and Judeo-Greek from Byzantine and early Ottoman times is now available for study in a critical edition. This concluding text, hailed as a "monumental work", is largely based on manuscripts preserved at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge; the British Museum; the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris; the Vatican; the Universities of Parma and Bologna; the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York; and Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
