Sherlock Holmes has come to life as a real man, manifested by forces from beyond this Earth, a kind of Scotland Yard of Time and Space who need him to be their agent. With the help of a human friend, Holmes is asked to embark on a new mission, to hunt down The Phantom from the future. The Phantom is a masked escapee from the 81st century, hiding out in Victorian London where a new terror now stalks the foggy streets. The Phantom has created an army of blood thirsty monsters and it's up to Sherlock Holmes, time-detective, to stop him.
