Valcroix gained fame for letting athletes roam free. Free from discipline. Free from rules. Free to do whatever they want. But the athletes soon took over. To prevent anarchy, Valcroix had to force a rule. Athletes must pass their classes or risk expulsion. Markus stays busy tutoring many of the same athletes who bully him. Unfortunately for him, Sam doesn't need tutoring. When Markus summons the courage to ask Sam a simple question, her answer turns into something neither of them can control. Markus and Sam rush to the aid of a bully when tragedy strikes, only to learn Valcroix is rife with historical evil that hides in plain sight.
