Agency nurse and physiotherapist Grace Gillespie cannot resist an offer to Stuart Campbell, as he lives near Dornoch, her 'home territory', and she looks to being close to her family. Deputy head of the local high school, Stuart insists he cannot remember his accident and it is assumed he must have fallen off the school roof during a function there. Grace realizes that his injuries don't match up with this - and he is afraid of being left alone in the house. She begins to ask questions, but someone seems desperate to stop her, no matter what it takes...
