Publisher's Synopsis
The ancient line of the great King Torquil has survived. Eight years after his father's death, Gerod finally sets sail to fulfill his father's dying wish, to inform his grandfather how his mother died. After a summer storm blows him off course and he suddenly finds himself unknowingly following the trail his father blazed fifteen years before when he sets aside his quest and rescues a member of a prominent family.
