Publisher's Synopsis
Her husband, Kenneth, declared missing and presumed dead, Maddy and her autistic son, Eric, return to Willow Shade. However, she learns the farm's nearing foreclosure.
Since authorities haven't recovered Kenneth's body, Maddy's unable to liquidate their assets. Refusing to uproot her son again, she joins her siblings in futile efforts to return Willow Shade to a profitable farm. An unknown adversary sabotages every endeavor by poisoning cattle, burning barns, and threatening lives.
B Maddy dates the banker, then suspects he's behind the schemes, but he proposes marriage, promising to save her family homestead. Maddy would do almost anything for Eric, but can she do this?
Kenneth appears to her in phenomenal dreams, as if reaching out to her from the dead, but what do they mean? Is he really gone, or is their love strong enough to telepath across continents? Will he return to Maddy before she marries someone else?
