Publisher's Synopsis
Shadowgraph Magazine is a bi-annual arts and culture journal that specializes in the art of the interview and essays. We interview artists, writers, philosophers, scientists, musicians, and other people who make significant contributions to our arts and culture. We also publish essays, fiction and poetry. Shadowgraph One has interviews with poets W.S. Merwin, Jim Harrison, and Carl Phillips; filmmakers Danny Rubin (the writer of Groundhog Day) and Godfrey Reggio (director of Koyaanisqatsi); and artist Jack Dollhausen. This issue also features poetry translated from the Spanish, and a Spanish "Poetics" excerpt. There are also essays by L.M. Meyers, Matt Donovon, and Kurt Caswell. Lindsay Ahl is the editor.
