Publisher's Synopsis

'The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense.' Once upon a time three half brothers, Harry, Jack and Henry, and later their sister, Mandy, became immersed in a 'reality' that merged with the 'fiction' of electronic games. In the cyberworld they have to pass the 7 tests of the 7 seas. The tests are those of the 7 sins - Pride, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, Anger and Sloth. The ultimate goal set them is to save a young warrior boy called Dan and bring him into reality. In their first test they are transported to the Chargos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Here they face the evil Captain Pumanero and his unkillable skeleton army. They must also defeat deadly dinosaurs, hungry sharks, teams of killer crabs, and a giant guard called the Gargallphor - all this while trying to escape the baffling and terrifying cyberworld. To make matters worse, the children are not really alike, but thankfully have one thing in common - their larrikin, knock-about father, Kuga James. What's really weird is that all people in the real world turn out to also be characters in the fictional world, including their father, Kuga James. That's so scary because the more trusted a person is in the real world the less trustworthy they become in the fictional world, and this especially applies to their dad - Kuga James.
