Ever since she was eight years old Denise desired to be a famous blues or R&B singer, but her Grandma Pearl Latimore would not permit her. Haunted by the battles from her past Grandma Pearl refused to have any music in their home except spirit music, to keep evil bound. Despite her Grandma's warnings, Denise is persuaded by Sam Dennis, a charismatic manager to sign with his record company, Nogard Records. Denise soon finds herself caught in a web of pure evil, satanic murders and human sacrifices, as she realizes the cost of her dreams. Reluctantly, Denise commissions the aid of Adeline, an old Vodun high priestess to help her fight evil to save not only her soul, but the souls of those directly linked to her sins.
