Publisher's Synopsis
The tragic and heroic events of 9/11/01 gripped and continue to extend an emotional hold on our nation. September's Heroes is an allegory intended to use the power of oral history with multimedia visuals for dramatization. I combined factual information about the World Trade Center and the events of that day with fictionalized, composite characters to represent the victims, heroes and survivors. A play in two acts, September's Heroes is told in a presentational style and can be performed with a limited budget. It features a large cast and is intended as an educational theatrical piece for high school and college actors and audiences. As witnesses, we are bound to tell the story.
