Publisher's Synopsis
On September 30, 2014, Michael William Olson, talented poet and loving goofball, was shot and killed by an armed robber while out for a walk in his home city of Portland, Oregon. Michael shared his work with friends and strangers alike on a web forum, and the bulk of this poetry, nearly 200 poems spanning a decade, has been gathered into this book-his "diary in verse," so to speak. His writing touched everyone on a very human, highly relatable level while maintaining the wry, self-depreciating humor for which he was known. To honor the medium in which Michael presented his poetry, this collective is arranged chronologically.
