Undergraduate and postgraduate medical students should find this book useful for self-assessment in the clinical problems which present in geriatric medicine. One third of the book consists of short case presentations, with biochemical and haematological data for interpretation. There are also 50 longer and more detailed clinical cases with accompanying black and white slides and/or ECG data. Both short and long cases are followed by questions, and the cases are discussed and answers explained in full in a separate section, with references to the literature.
