Publisher's Synopsis

A unique edition:

  • beautifully formatted with large, easy-to-read fonts;
  • annotated, illustrated, with introductions by Dr. Oscar Levy

Anthony M. Ludovici MBE (1882-1971) was a British philosopher, sociologist, social critic and polyglot.

"A fearless approach to the truth"- that's how the British writer described his own character.

He is best known as a leading British conservative author of the early 20th century. The son and grandson of painters, and a talented amateur himself, Ludovici championed representational art stressing human beauty. He also wrote on subjects including metaphysics, politics, economics, religion, the differences between the sexes, race, health, and eugenics.

He began his career as an artist, painting and illustrating books. He was private secretary to sculptor Rodin. Ludovici also became a student of Dr. Oscar Levy, editor of The Complete Works of Friedrich Nietzsche, the first translation of Nietzsche's works in English, to which Ludovici contributed several books.

This volume contains his essential writings and lectures of 1908-1911. It is a must-have for any Nietzschean aficionado.
