Publisher's Synopsis
She's a million miles out of my league.
But when I find out that Kenna is my online student, the fake name I used to become a tutor gives me the confidence I needed to talk to her.
I don't know anything about women, but it sure seems like she's flirting with me. This would never happen if she found out I'm just that nerd who can't stop staring at her in the cafeteria, unable to speak in her presence.
If she wasn't dating my best friend, maybe I wouldn't feel so guilty for being desperately in love with her.
But Kenna is the girl every guy wants, because she lights up every room she enters with her perfect smile and addicting laugh. I can't focus on anyone else when she's nearby.
So I let myself flirt with her, and it somehow happens in real life, not just through our late-night emails.
The real hang-up is that she doesn't know there's two versions of me, the quiet guy I am on the outside and the real me beneath the surface.
When she inevitably finds out, I don't know how she'll ever forgive me for lying to her about my true identity.
I absolutely could not put this book down. Was an amazing slow burn and had a few twists in it that I wasn't expecting but it kept me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely loved reading this book and cannot wait for the next book that MJ puts out. -Krystal M.J. Hendrix made me fall in love with romance & rom-coms all over again! When I read M.J.'s debut novel "Falling For Temptation" - which is the first book in the "Good Ol' Boys" series - I felt the urge to start reading more and more romance novels again & it feels so good! her writing is so good and it always makes me not want to put her books down. "Seeing Double" was everything I expected and more. -Miriam Another 5 Star romance novel by M.J. Hendrix. This is the 2nd book of the Good Ol Boys Series. It can be read as a stand alone, but your going to want to read them all. It was hard for me to put this book down. There wasn't much that I did not love about this nerd boy/popular girl, opposites attract, college romance, slow burn novel. I enjoyed getting to see more of Levi and Kenna's individual stories, their relationship journey, and a slight glimpse of Harley and Adam's continuing storyline. I cannot wait for Book # 3! -Megan If you're looking for paper cuts from turning the pages way to quick then you're in the right place. This book is almost impossible to put down, with the perfect amount of twists you don't see coming. Highs and lows, insecurities and self doubt, and growth makes for a story that you can personally feel and relate to. -Camie I love this book. Seeing two people from two different worlds like each other without them knowing. It has all the twists and turn. This book made me feel like I was riding an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I cried, I was happy and I was also very sad for both Kenna and Levi. I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it, like all the other books by MJ Hendrix has written. -Kathryn I personally enjoyed this book, having felt like I resonated with both Levi and Kenna. Levi's social anxiety, and insecurities. Kenna wanting someone so bad and it seems impossible. MJ really kills it with the character development and feeling like you really know the characters! -Mikayla
