SediVision runs under MS Windows to minimize learning requirements. The program can process sieve, hydrometer, and pipette data after Köhn. In addition, data from at present four different particle measurement devices can be read in. All measured data can be stored in a database. Key word fields offer instant access to individual data sets. SediVision includes an extensive, context-sensitive online help file that explains how to use the program and also exactly documents the methods used in the program including formulas and literature sources. The user interface language can be set to German or English at any time via the menu.
