Publisher's Synopsis

'Secrets of the Feel-Good Home' is the book for anyone who has a home they love (or who yearns for a home they can love). It is invaluable if you want to sell your home and present it to best advantage and create your new dream home when you move. It is a wonderful guide if you are involved in planning, design, building, restoration and/or conversion. An architect said of it. "Every architect should read this book". Drawing on ancient wisdom and contemporary insights, 'The Feel-Good Home' offers many simple strategies that can help transform the everyday into the exceptional. The text together with the lovely cover and beautiful internal design make this a book for giving (and the perfect gift for those about to be married, planning a new home, revamping their present home or who just 'like houses').

Susan trained as a physiotherapist and dramatherapist in England and later in California as a feng shui consultant. The physiotherapy inspired an earlier book Gentle Exercise. The dramatherapy and feng shui, combined with a long-time passion for doing up houses, led to this one.

Her earliest memories are of an all-pervading 'sense of place' evoked both by the landscape and by the buildings around her. Dramatherapy and feng shui ignited this further; dramatherapy by revealing how, through the simplest of means, any space can be transformed into anything you want it to be and feng shui by demonstrating in precise but easy ways how any place, any home, can become truly a Home for your Soul.

Susan lives in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. She works with clients, both individually and in small friendly informal groups, helping them harness the 'feel-good' within their own special places and spaces.
