Publisher's Synopsis
Divorce cancer has eaten its way to the very top in all circles. In the Church leadership, among the rich and in those in leadership and authority. It is funny and at the same time sad how divorce in this time has and is still eating into church folks and not just church folks but church leadership. It is sad to see leaders and powerful people in authority and of influence who are married more than four or five times. For the rich and wealthy in our times, divorce is just like a contract. It only takes a phone call and within minutes their marriage is over. Today marriages are ended just because, one person woke up and fell out of love hence he/she goes to the local court and ends the marriage. Husbands and wives were designed to be lifelong companions, but now sinful natures are at work, trying to destroy what God has joined together. Sin has turned God's ordained roles into struggles of pride, selfishness, and self-will. How can a marriage survive this kind of conflict? The good news is that we have been given a recipe for reversing the effects of The Fall of Creation, and it's in the commands and word of God that God has given to us.Passionately applying God's commands can transform harsh men and make them loving, godly household leaders. God's word can transform the controlling, manipulative sinful nature of women, and make them gentle and respectful. Applying God's commands allows married couples to enjoy marriage as God intended before The Fall of creation. The result will be relationships characterized by love, joy, and peace. The first Adam did not abandon his lovely bride. Knowingly and willingly he ate the fruit of her folly to be at her side, taking on the consequence of her transgression. He would join her because Adam loved Eve from a love storytelling perspective. The second Adam was equally devoted, and though He did not eat the fruit of our transgression, He took upon himself the consequence of that transgression to die in our stead.
