Publisher's Synopsis
Three archive documentary films from the Films of Scotland Committee. 'Seaward the Great Ships' (1960) is a testimony to the shipbuilders of the Clyde. 'Glasgow's Docklands' (1956) looks at life around the docks, with horses and carts still in use. 'The River Clyde' (1939) follows the great river from source to sea, looking at the commerical docks on its banks, and the various ships that travel along it every day.
