Publisher's Synopsis
This book contains several poems and some songs that I have written since I was in junior high. This book publication happened because my mentor, Rita Randecker truly believes that my poems and songs can help people who struggle with mental illness, and especially teens growing up through school that endure bullying, depression and anxiety. My ultimate dream for this book is to help others feel less alone and I plan to donate 40% of whatever profits to my home church, Ax Church in La Salle, IL for funds to not only keep the church alive to bring Jesus to where people are at, but also to support a wonderful event that the church has been having for the past several years called Hope Week. Hope Week was created to help our communities by giving our time and money to help restore public parks, schools, or other jobs that the state or cities are unable to provide funds for, and we also try to help families or local businesses in some ways that we are capable of such as renovations or simply donating a vehicle to a family in need of one. In the year 2020, due to the corona-virus, we decided to change things up a little because normally the church sets up projects for the volunteers, so this time the volunteers had to find a project to provide hope to someone or to somewhere. My project was to finish this book, get it published, donate as much as I can to help fund this amazing church and events they created, lastly like I said before, I hope my poems and songs helps my readers feel less alone and most importantly, to inspire hope in my readers hearts and their lives.
