Words are a wonderful tool. They can inform you, educate you, and entertain you. The words in this volume should do all three. Poetry is a special language coming from the heart of the poet. Thoughts and Prayers come from Spirit. I opened my spirit to the Infinite and it answered with wisdom and beauty.
"The compass guides me" came from actual experience. "Older Brother Younger Brother" came from childhood memories. Prose such as "Silver Spear" and "The Feast of the Epiphany" came from meditation.
Writing poetry is a fun and pleasurable endeavor. Writing spiritual ideas and concepts requires listening, absorbing and allowing something greater than you to have its say.
