Publisher's Synopsis

Séada is an introductory Irish course specifically designed for the Key Stage 3 Northern Ireland Curriculum devised by CCEA. It has been produced in association with The Department of Education for Northern Ireland (DENI) and Foras Na Gaeilge who jointly financed the research, the writing and the production of this course. It comprises a pupil's book and a listening CD (sold separately).

Séada assumes no prior knowledge of the Irish language. The six units deal with everyday vocabulary and grammar and build language step by step while also developing broader appreciation of Irish culture.

Séada is written by two experienced teachers who have a detailed knowledge of the Revised Curriculum.
